3-SAT was created as an initiative of first-grade students of the High School no.3 in Gdynia. Even though the idea was born among the participants of an extracurricular robotics class on the Gdańsk University of Technology, students of different interests quickly joined the project. Physicists, mathematicians, biologists and even humanists found a place within 3-SAT. A shared passion and challenge connected them.

The aim of 3-SAT is to conduct an astrobiological experiment in the form of a stratospheric mission, using the HAMAV platform, which was developed in the project. However, in the course of the three-year project, our team had to face numerous problems and challenges, while expanding their activity to incorporate mission "Światło", the history module and other initiatives.

All team members have already graduated high school and are continuing their education on Poland's and world's top universities, such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, TU Delft, the Warsaw University and the Warsaw University of Technology.

3-SAT's mission is being continued by younger students in 3-SAT2, which has team members of equally varied interests and determination to cope with difficult problems. 3-SAT2 is coordinated by Mrs Anna Rzepa and Mrs Marta Mąkosa.
