won the second place in the College Students' category of Hackathon, organized by Microsoft and Polpharma in Kozminski Business Hub w hackatonie organizowanym przez Microsoft oraz Polpahrmę w Koźmiński Business Hub
During 24 hours over 65 participants worked on technological solutions to issues with waste management. Participants were supported by mentors, who shared their knowledge and experience with them.
The first step of Leothon was the registration process. Subsequently, all of the participants received their qualification assignment, upon the completion of which some of them would proceed to take part in the 24 hours-long competition section. Of 100 applicants, over 65 qualified for the 24-hour section.
The contestants had to prepare a general statement on their project, which outlined its main and secondary aims and its potential role in fixing ecological problems with waste management. Additionally, they had to prepare a mock-up or a prototype of their project.
The teams' work was finalized with a 3 to 6 minutes presentations and then the subsequent final round.
